Great flexibility is offered due to the fact that the Rotarius VG seals trays made from all kind of different material (PP, PET, PS, aluminium and laminated carton).The chosen lidding film must correspond to the characteristics of the trays.For even more attractive product presentation you can also employ printed lidding film and film coding on the Rotarius VG.
Changing from one tray size to another is done easily and without any tools.
The manual turntable enables ease of use; whilst the exchange of atmosphere is made in the sealing-/cutting station, the sealed and contour cut trays can be unloaded and new filled trays placed into the loading/unloading station.
Residual film will be automatically coiled and removed.

By standard the Rotarius is equipped with a special O2-security device for safe O2-flushing for fresh and read meat products.
Product-specific data is saved and accessed via the user friendly touch screen.

Our tray sealing system consist of the small VARIOVAC Silius VG and the EURO FRISCHEBOX® trays. This system gives you great flexibility, because:

The compact Silius VG is on rolls and can be used at any desired site in your production.
The Silius VG can replace or supplement the production on a thermoforming machine by just 1/5 of the costs of a thermoformer.
EURO FRISCHEBOX® trays fill perfectly the bottom of the Eurocase, thus perfect use of costly truck space.
You can smoothly fill your product into the pre-fabricated trays before sealing to give the package an attractive appearance . If necessary, the weight of the filled product can be checked before sealing, so that the package is ready to be labelled / priced right after sealing.
EURO FRISCHEBOX® trays and the sealing film are extremely gas tight and guarantee a maximum of freshness, colour, aroma and shelflife of your product.
The Silius VG is easily and quickly changed to a different tray sizes.
The advantages of the impulse sealing are obvious:
no preheating time, always ready to produce.
No loss of energy - you just consume energy during the short time of the sealing impulse.
No thermal problems in cooled production area.
No danger by a permanent hot sealing plate.

LEAK TESTER

A simple, additional support for your quality assurance (QA) of MAP packages.


And this is how it works:

An EXIKATOR is a leak tester to survey your production of MAP packages at periodic intervals to verify possible leaks in film and sealed seams. Completed packs are placed into the water bath, the touch down lid presses the pack into the water and the EXIKATOR rondo is evacuated.

By reducing the air pressure in the EXIKATOR the pack expands. In case of leaks in film or sealed seams bubbles flow from the defect spot.

The testing pressure can be pre-selected and set to test the suit the film under repeatable conditions.

After this non-destructive test, faultless packages can be used and sold.
We can offer you two models, the small VARIOVAC rondo and the VARIOVAC quarree.

EXIKATOR quarree - well-proven

Housing made of acrylic sheet (PMMA) with touch-down lid from stainless steel. A water collector is integrated in the lid. The leak tester, vacuum pump and control device are mounted as a unit on a stainless steel table with wheels for flexible use.

BULK PACKAGING SYSTEMS

This bulk-packaging system with modified atmosphere
offers you production advantages
Significant extension of shelf life to 2 to 3 times while maintaining the same high quality.
Economical use of expensive cool storage and transport space.
Optimal commercialisation of surplus product, e.g. packaging of cheese segments.
Mixed transportation of meat, fish, cheese, vegetable in one cooling transport.
Minimising distribution and delivery costs e.g. only once a week.
Simplifying storage of your mixed fresh products
Fresh products: beef, pork, poultry and fish, which is sold via the sales counter is delivered in bulk packages and opened just before needed. The standard transportation case (e.g. Euro-case) is laid out by gastight bulk pouch, which can be filled with up to 20 k of fresh product.

The filled cases are positioned via roller-conveyor belt under the Bulky. The bulk pouch, filled with product, will be evacuated by 2 suction nozzles, refilled with protection gas by 2 flushing nozzles and sealed with a bi-active 6 mm seam.

When packing fresh fish in this system you no longer suffer from the mess of melted ice anymore. There will be no more melting ice contamination due to the hermetically gastight pouch which also reduces any smell.

Even retail-ready packs (e.g. foodtainer) can benefit from a shelf life extension by being packed by a Bulky. 6 - 10 retail-packs are filled into a bulk pouch and packed under modified atmosphere. Just before displaying the retail-packs for sale in the supermarket, the bulk pouch is opened for your presentation
